In the end, what do I do?

Some feelings refuse to fade, looping endlessly in the mind and heart. This poem captures the struggle to let go and the helpless pull of love that lingers.

And what do I do?

I’ve tried too many times

to put you out of my mind,

searched for signs

to show me that I was wrong,

but they were hard to find,

or maybe I’m not that strong.

In the end,

what do I do?

I think of you.

I’ve owned so many hearts,

some of them wanted mine.

Yours took it before its time,

left it broken in a hundred parts,

so now I’m alone,

and my heart is too.

In the end,

what do I do?

I love you.

I’ve kissed so many lips,

but once I tasted yours,

I entered your world.

While you moved those beautiful hips,

it felt like opening magical doors,

to the unknown.

In the end,

what do I do?

I lose myself,

guess why,

all because of

you.

Love sometimes leaves us questioning, cycling through emotions we can’t control. In the end, we all must decide: what do we do?
